Construction has been completed on the much anticipated Community and Senior Center which will be a place for all of Encinitas. . . seniors, adults, teens and tots. The building is approximately 39,000 square feet, costs $7.8 million and includes a community banquet hall, gymnasium/auditorium, arts/craft room, activity and meeting rooms, conference rooms, etc. The Center will host concerts, recitals, seminars/workshops, instructional recreational classes, wedding receptions, community group meetings, teen dance parties, art fairs, festivals, indoor sports leagues/clinics, preschool activities and events, senior citizen outreach services, senior nutritional lunch programs, senior activities and events, family fun nights, children/teen after school public forums and community special events. |
